In 2001, TNAAP's Committee on Pediatric Emergency Medicine began publishing the Pediatric Emergency Messenger 2 to 3 times a year. This 4-page newsletter offered both clinical and non-clinical articles on a variety of pediatric emergency medical services, written by Tennessee pediatricians and other TN emergency medical services personnel. While no longer being published, the past issues are archived here, as many articles such as those on tickborne rickettsial diseases, fracture recognition, intravenous rehydration, snow-related injuries, and prescribing errors/miscommunications between MDs and parent, remain relevant.
