The Tennessee Academy of Family Physicians (TNAFP) is the medical specialty association with a membership of 2,150 family physicians, family medicine residents and medical students throughout Tennessee. The Tennessee AFP is a state chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians representing more than 93,100 members nationwide and headquartered in Leawood, Kansas.

Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations (TAMHO)
The Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations (TAMHO) is a statewide trade association representing Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) and other non-profit corporations that provide behavioral health services. These organizations have historically met the needs of mentally ill and chemically dependent citizens of Tennessee from all age groups and socioeconomic levels. The TAMHO member organizations have been the virtual cornerstone of the community-based behavioral health system throughout the state since the 1950s and today serve as the primary provider network for the TennCare Program, Tennessee's Medicaid waiver program.

Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS)
TEIS is a voluntary educational program for Tennessee families with children ages birth through two years of age with disabilities or developmental delays. The primary goal is to support families in promoting their child’s optimal development and to facilitate the child’s participation in family and community activities. There are 9 districts statewide that are the point of entry into the early intervention system.

The Commonwealth Fund
The Commonwealth Fund is a private foundation that supports independent research on health and social issues and makes grants to improve health care practice and policy.
